From the Islamic point of view, peace means that when Islam has taken over the world, established its imperialistic caliphate, and Sharia is implemented - the Islamic law is implemented throughout the world - then we have peace.
Peace in Islam means you surrender and you submit. The word Islam itself means surrender. When they shout Allahu Akbar and you become Muslim, it means you surrender to an Islamic army. That is their understanding of peace.
From your perspective, as a Christian, it is very cute and naive that you want peace. They don’t. They want you to surrender. They want you to pay jizya, the protection tax.
In chapter 9 of the Quran, which is the latest revelation of the self-declared prophet of Islam, it says that you fight them until they surrender. Chapter 9, verses 28, 29, and 30 - these verses are about Christians and Jews. You fight them until they surrender.
You want peace with them. They don’t. Islamic regimes have proven that over and over again.
Israel just wants to be left alone. They want to live their lives. But they are facing regimes that chant “Death to America, Death to Israel.” They keep provoking. They keep sending proxies. They keep sending missiles.
How long can you put up with that?
You want peace - understandable.
They don’t.
