Warning: Aid for Persecuted Druze & Christians in Syria Allegedly Diverted to ISIS Affiliates & Luxury Villas

This is not a statement, and it is not commentary.

It is a warning about something real that is happening, something that could have deadly consequences for minorities who are already under existential threat.
Over the past months, the Druze and Christian minorities in Sweida have been living through an existential crisis. Thousands are displaced. Families are hungry. Winter has been brutal. The Syrian government has arrested, persecuted, and acted with intent to annihilate minorities, leaving people exposed and unprotected.
Outside of Israel, there was mostly silence.
A brutal silence.
When the world looked away, and courage became rare, only a few were willing to step into that silence. Tim was the boldest voice of them all!
I am not here to investigate or litigate anyone. Others are doing that work. What I can speak about is what I witnessed and why these issues cannot be ignored.
When my people were suffering, ignored, and displaced, Tim Ballard showed up and raised his voice on our behalf!
For those unfamiliar, Tim Ballard is a former federal agent and humanitarian advocate who raised concerns about persecuted minorities in Syria, in Congress, at the White House, and in the media. He did not speak from a distance. He came. He met with Druze and Christian religious leaders. He sat with families. He listened, and he carried their voice as it was, not as it was convenient.
As awareness grew and people around the world responded, something deeply troubling became clear. Public attention was high and donor interest was strong, yet the aid that was supposed to reach the people on the ground did not arrive.
This was not because the cause lacked support. According to concerns raised by Tim and his legal team, another organization, originally built under his leadership but now controlled by different hands, deliberately steered online donation traffic away from its intended destination.
Through Google Ads and digital routing, donors who believed they were supporting Druze and other persecuted minorities were allegedly redirected elsewhere, without their knowledge.
Even more alarming, ongoing investigations have raised serious concerns that some of these diverted funds may have been transferred to organizations or actors affiliated with ISIS. If proven, this would not be a financial irregularity. It would represent another massacre against minorities, carried out through money rather than weapons.
There are also growing concerns about separate cases from within our own community. In addition to everything else, money raised in the name of suffering people in Sweida, has reportedly been misused by individuals from within our circles, including for personal use and luxury homes in places like Dubai, Georgia and fat Swiss bank accounts; while families in Sweida freeze and starve.
This is not about personalities.
It is about patterns.
In an existential humanitarian crisis, diversion or misuse of aid is not just corruption. It becomes a weapon. It accelerates annihilation, destroys trust, and leaves communities exposed to hunger, cold, and violence.
These matters must be examined through proper legal and investigative channels. Silence is not neutrality. Silence enables destruction.
When the whole world stays silent and only a few raise their voice, and when those voices are attacked simply for standing with the weak, the responsibility to defend truth does not disappear. It becomes heavier.
