The Jewish Antizionist: A Crowd Favorite

There is no applause louder than the applause reserved for a Jew explaining why Jewish self-determination is immoral. The crowd leans in. The cameras roll. A brave dissenter! A moral unicorn! Proof, at last, that all those accusations of antisemitism are just Zionist hysteria.

Jewish antizionists serve a very specific social function: absolution. Their presence allows movements hostile to Jews to insist they are merely “anti-ideology,” not anti-people. And like all good mascots, they are celebrated - right up until they are no longer useful.

History suggests that expiration date arrives sooner than they think.
