If you want to understand the absolute fraud of the global BDS movement, look no further than its founder.
Omar Barghouti travels the world telling university students, trade unions, and artists that they must boycott, isolate, and sanction Israel. He claims it is a moral imperative to cut all ties with the Jewish state.
But there are a few things he leaves out of his speeches:
1. *He lives in Israel.* While demanding the world destroy Israel’s economy, Barghouti lives comfortably as a permanent resident in the northern Israeli city of Akko, enjoying the full rights, healthcare, and infrastructure of the state he wants to dismantle.
2. *He is an Israeli Academic.* He is the architect of the academic boycott against Israel. Yet, he holds a master’s degree from Tel Aviv University and studied there for his PhD.
3. *He is a Tax Evader.* In 2017, he was busted hiding $700,000 in income—money he made from speaking fees and book sales profiting off the boycott industry.
But it gets worse when you look at his family.
The Barghouti clan isn't just a family; they are a multi-front terror syndicate. While Omar wears suits and fights at the UN, his cousin *Marwan Barghouti* is serving 5 life sentences for orchestrating the suicide bombings of the Second Intifada. Other members of the family include *Abdullah Barghouti* (Hamas’s chief bomb-maker for the Sbarro massacre) and *Assam Barghouti* (who shot a pregnant woman at a bus stop in 2018).
While the BDS wing of the family takes over American college campuses, the Hamas and Fatah wings of the family build bombs and shoot at bus stops.
They are two hands attached to the exact same body. Stop treating campus boycotts and terrorism as separate issues. It’s time to expose the fraud.
