If you actually VISIT the Middle East, you are likely to be amazed, as I was, by how different things are than what we've been programmed to think by social media poseurs, ignoramuses, cosplayers and propagandists.
You will also be amazed by just HOW ignorant the most COCKSURE professional opiners in particular are - living embodiments, daily if not hourly, of the Dunning-Kruger Effect.
Here is one example: Have you heard the old 'white settler' saw? Well, over 60% of Israelis now are of Mizrahi background. That is, they're descended from Jewish folk who either (a) never left the Holy Land (Jerusalem was majority- or at very least plurality-Jewish even in the 1860s), or (b) were among the one million expelled by Middle Eastern countries in the first half of the 20th century.
And this is not to mention the many Ethiopian and other African Jews who came as refugees in the 1980s, or the 20% of Israelis who are Arab Muslim, Christian, or Druze.
Meanwhile, nary a word from any Jew-haters or Israel-defamers, it seems, about the literal hundreds of thousands of sub-Saharan African Christians and Muslims alike still being raped, murdered, or forcibly removed - in a word, genocided - by armed Islamist 'militias' right now who never ended the conquests or slave trade (google those) that began in the 7th century, and whose word for African - 'abeed' (google it) - is also their word for slave.
