In just this past week alone, we have seen the BDS (Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions) movement attacking us on three parallel fronts. These are not isolated incidents; they are part of a highly coordinated global campaign. While these might just be the ones making headlines, there are undoubtedly many more brewing under the surface.
Case 1: The Eurovision Hijacking
Look at the toxic circus surrounding the Eurovision Song Contest. A music competition meant to unite people has been turned into a relentless campaign of harassment against Israel. Every post, every song, and every Israeli participant is treated as if they are part of an illegal campaign. Seriously, let people enjoy Eurovision already.
Case 2: Canada's "Hot Cargo"
Meanwhile, across the Atlantic in Canada, BDS activists are actively trying to declare every shipment originating from Israel as "hot cargo," meaning it is not to be handled or treated. The goal is to intimidate dockworkers and logistics companies into placing an illegal chokehold on international trade.
Case 3: The Brooklyn Co-op Takeover
At the local level, BDS forces in Brooklyn are attempting a hostile takeover of the Park Slope Food Coop—the oldest and largest cooperative of its kind in the United States. They are systematically working to hijack a local community grocery staple to serve a radical, global anti-Israel agenda.
"Look, a Bird!" — A Synchronized Distraction
How unexpected that the "hot cargo" vote in Canada happens to fall on the exact same days as the Eurovision vote.
Look, a bird!
It’s a classic distraction tactic. While the world's attention is entirely consumed by the glittering lights, media frenzy, and manufactured outrage of Eurovision, BDS is quietly moving to choke off international commerce in the background. It is a highly synchronized assault. We see you, BDS.
The Lesson: Wake Up to the True Threat
What is the lesson here? BDS is infinitely more vile and dangerous than current Jewish leadership is willing to consider. This is not a nuisance; it is a true enemy.
To understand the threat, you have to look at the source. The BDS movement was founded in 2005 by Omar Barghouti. Born in Qatar, raised in egypt, married an Israeli Arab and got an Israeli citizenship. How is it that the founder of this malicious global boycott is still strolling loose in Akko? He lives a free, democratic life in Israel and even earned his Master’s degree from Tel Aviv University. He enjoys the very rights, freedoms, and educational institutions of the state he actively seeks to destroy, while the rest of us suffer the rage of his lies.
Furthermore, how is it that no one is talking about the fact that he is part of the Barghouti clan—a network notorious for producing murderous terrorists? BDS wasn't born out of a peaceful grassroots initiative; it was established as a strategic collaboration between 170 Palestinian organizations, including Hamas.
The ultimate lesson is that BDS needs to be taken much more seriously and dealt with on a systemic, high-level scale—not just batted away by local community activists or Eurovision fans. We are dealing with terrorists in suits. They are running a sophisticated operation to globally interfere with our culture, our academics, our commerce, and our education.
It is time to wake up. People often warn that the Muslim Brotherhood wants to take over the world. While we debate those warnings, BDS is out there actually doing it.
