SHE WAS JUST A CHILD.

SHE WAS JUST A CHILD.

Yahel Shoham was taken from her home on October 7.
A little girl. A family. A childhood interrupted by terror.
For months, she was held captive in Gaza.
The world speaks endlessly about human rights.
Yet no Red Cross visit ever reached her.
No international campaign demanded access.
No global outrage filled the streets for this child.

Whatever your politics may be, one truth should unite us:
No child should ever be kidnapped.
No child should ever be used as a bargaining chip.
No child should ever grow up in captivity.

Today we remember Yahel.
Not as a symbol.
Not as a headline.
As a child.
A child who deserved safety. A child who deserved protection.
A child who deserved the same compassion the world promises every other child.
May we never become so divided that we forget our shared humanity.
