Did you notice that Alex, Eden, and Carmel are holding playing cards? What you might not have noticed is that Hersh isn’t holding any. He only has one hand. So Almog sits beside him, helping him hide his cards with a pillow so he can play along with everyone. Carmel made him a pita. Eden rubbed hand sanitizer on his arm. Alex took care of the food. Ori moved the mattresses and swept the room. They were there for each other. Every single moment. And they should be right here with us now. We will never forget them.
