From Josef Mengele to Richard Horton: The Evolution of Antisemitism from Genocide to Academic Respectability

Before examining contemporary medical antisemitism, it is essential to understand a fact that is insufficiently appreciated: the Holocaust was not merely a genocide in which some doctors participated. It was the first physician-led genocide in history — one in which the medical profession was not merely complicit but constitutive. Doctors were the architects, not merely the instruments, of industrial mass murder. Half of all German physicians were members of the Nazi Party, and more than seven per cent held SS rank — a higher proportion than in any other academic profession. It was doctors who provided the intellectual framework through racial hygiene theory, most explicitly through the 1920 pamphlet The Authorization for the Destruction of Life Unworthy of Life, co-authored by psychiatrist Alfred Hoche, which transformed murder into medical necessity. It was doctors who designed and ran the T-4 euthanasia programme — the direct operational prototype for the Final Solution — killing up...

The Structure Of Attention Trap

The structure of attention is the most potent weapon in the information war, and the antizionist hate movement relies entirely on controlling it. The Trap: The Defensive Loop When they make an allegation—calling us colonizers, genocidal, or apartheid—they are effectively setting the agenda. If we respond with facts, history, or justifications, we have already lost. We have accepted their premise that Israel's legitimacy is a debate and that we are the ones who need to provide proof to be allowed to exist. This keeps all eyes on us, in the defensive crouch they want. The Solution: The Attention Shift To win, we must break the loop. The answer is not to answer their allegation, but to shift the attention back onto them. The Pivot: Instead of defending against a libel, we treat the libel itself as the subject. When they call us genocidal, we don't present a history lesson about 1948. We say: "This is a libel. You are a member of a coordinated hate cult that uses this exact p...

Antizionism Is Not a Harmless Political Position by Andreas Büttner

Since October 7, 2023, debates about Israel, the Middle East, and the boundaries of legitimate criticism have intensified across Europe. In democratic societies, this is both inevitable and necessary. The policies of any government—including that of Israel—must remain open to scrutiny. Criticism of military strategy, settlement policy, coalition politics, or constitutional reforms is not only legitimate; it is a hallmark of democratic discourse. But alongside legitimate criticism, another development has gained traction: the growing normalization of anti-Zionism as if it were merely one political viewpoint among many—morally neutral, historically detached, and unrelated to antisemitism. That characterization deserves closer examination. What Zionism Actually Means At its core, Zionism is the movement affirming the right of the Jewish people to national self-determination in their historic homeland. It emerged in the late 19th century as a response to persistent antisemitism in Europe a...
